When people in the Diaspora, or may be a member? Is there an estimated time?

i guess now its beta testers/people they actually know/people with loads of patience only now. giving it to the open public at this stage might become a disaster (imagine those people who lack computer skills and/or parts of brains putting their stuff here, failing, and ranting on how bad it is and how they welcome facebook now) and defy the purpouse of ever trying to create diaspora.
