Just wondering if there’s some kind of fancy trick to it because hitting enter does not seem to work and there isn’t any kind of button to send the comment.

There should be a comment button that you can click on.
If you click on a picture that someone posted, you won’t be able to leave a comment that way (bug 1047). You have to leave a comment on from the main Aspect stream.
