Hey guys I have an idea for a feature in diaspora but couldn’t find a way to contact the guys to suggest it. Perhaps some kind of suggestion box on the webpage would be good.
My idea comes from personal experience and is as follows…
When I was dumped by my ex I had a lot of photos of us in my facebook picture albums. The last thing I felt like doing was looking at his ugly mug every time I went in to look at my pics. In real life (and in movies) you can literally tear that person out of the photo and keep the bit with you in it. How about a feature where you can do the same for your digital pics. I.e. by clicking an “exclude so and so” button it crops your picture to remove so and so from all your pics. In Facebook you tag a person’s face so it should be simple enough to know where that person is in the pic and remove them.
What do you guys think? does this feature have any legs?
