My friend has an account on diasp.eu, and I have an account on joindiaspora.com. I can’t find my friend’s profile while logged in on my account at joindiaspora (tried using the email address she has there too). When I’m logged out though, I can see the public part of her profile at diasp.eu. How can I add her to my aspects and start sharing with her?

This works for me fine between diasp.org and joindiaspora.com – make sure you double check this: “However, pods' user interfaces MAY NOT allow users to find a person by name if that person has not marked themselves as "searchable”, in their hcard (see below).“ https://github.com/diaspora/diaspora/wiki/Diaspora%27s-federation-protocol

Also, when searching for a friend who is registered on another pod, make sure you enter their full ID. For example, search for your friend by entering:
If you just enter a name, Diaspora will search the pod you’re registered on first.
