Will be posible to share pictures,video, sound or any other multimedia stuff? In which way? When?

Picture sharing is already supported, video sharing, through youtube is also supported. Other features are being developed.
I know how to insert a link to an image which is located in Internet but mean you that currently I am able to upload a picture from my hard disk? Sorry if the answer to my question is obvious but Im new on Disapora Thanks for your help
